Since 1993 Agroherbal has been operating in the collection, processing and export of medicinal plants. Our company trades over 200 items from the rich Albanian natural flora and plants cultivated in their natural environments and certified as organic products. Our products are traded as raw materials for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industry, medicinal tea, spices, essential oils, tannins, human food, animal feed, etc. With a consolidated experience in the marketing of medicinal and aromatic plants, Agroherbal exports its products to Europe and the USA. Our products from spontaneous wild flora:
Most of the plants that we trade, about 200 items, are wild plants, collected in the natural environment of the spontaneous Albanian flora. The plants have no pesticides and are traded dry, after a technical drying process. We bring from the true values of our products from the pure spontaneous wild flora and very rich of the Albanian mountains.
Cultivation and cultivated products:
About 70 items we trade are plants grown in their natural habitats and
certified as organic products.
Agroherbal cooperates with many farmers throughout Albania by
contracting with them the production plan, guaranteeing the annual market
and its future.
Agroherbal supports farmers with seeds, seedlings, technical assistance,
pre-financing, assistance and financial support in the organic certification of
products as well as support in all stages of production and manipulation of
products for the market.
The controlled cultivation of medicinal plants in their natural habitat, has
increased the variety of cultivated items in about 70 different species, has
increased the quality of products and the guarantee of production, avoiding
the periodicity of spontaneous production.
Nature, climate and traditions harmonized with cultivation, certification and
technology, give us medicinal plants of high biochemical, curative and
commercial value.
Certification and organic products
About 150 items we trade are certified as organic BIO and NOP products by the certification bodies that operate ECOCERT S.A. www.ecocert.com. Organic products are the priority of our market. Traceability of products throughout the market chain from pickers, farmers to consumers are our vision for today and for the future. Organic certification highlights the high values of our products harvested from spontaneous clean and rich flora, from products cultivated in their natural habitat and the preservation of these values throughout the market chain to the consumer.
